Mosaic’s Potash Mining Readiness Program is designed specifically for Indigenous learners who want to explore entry-level roles in mining and gain the skills, confidence, and support to succeed.
This six-week training program will prepare you to work at Mosaic’s world-class potash operations in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan — with the opportunity to grow your career in a safe, stable, and supportive environment.

Location & Schedule
- Where: Mosaic’s Esterhazy Potash Complex (K1, K2, K3) and in-town facilities
- When: Starting February 2026
- Duration: 6 weeks, Monday to Friday (6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – to model a typical work shift)
- Cohort Size: 6–12 participants per session
- Two Daily Meals & Lodging: Provided by Mosaic (Monday–Friday)

What You Need to Join
- Able to pass a drug & alcohol test
- Willing to commit to the full 6-week program
- Comfortable with physical work and safety procedures
- Experience or exposure in construction, agriculture, or industrial settings is helpful
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing stairs, and working in various conditions
- Able to wear safety gear, including a respirator
- Good hearing and vision (with or without correction)
