Registration is now open for our Indigenous Financial Capacity Series: Proposal & Grant Writing Conference held at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg. This conference is one of many finance-focused conferences tailored to different roles within your organization to build overall financial capacity.
Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your financial capabilities and connect with a supportive network of peers.
Following the success of the "Roadmap to Budgeting and Reporting" conference, the "Proposal and Grant Writing” conference will provide participants with the skills and strategies needed to secure funding for their communities and organizations.
Indigenous organizations rely heavily on grant funding to meet the needs of members and communities. Maneuvering the world of proposals and grants can be daunting, yet governments continue to put out frequent Calls for Proposals requesting applications to access funding - funding that is often surplused due to lack of capacity to write the proposals or applications. This course will build capacity and confidence in you and your staff to access funding through proposals, get the grant funding, implement the project, and do the required reporting - thereby completing another aspect of financial literacy!
This conference will guide attendees through the entire process of crafting compelling proposals and grant applications tailored specifically to the needs and priorities of Indigenous organizations.
