Michael Pirot

Senior Consultant, Program Development

Michael is a Senior Consultant at Morris Interactive, where he plays a pivotal role in supporting First Nations and Métis communities across Alberta and Saskatchewan. With a focus on translating community priorities into actionable, fundable, and sustainable programs, Michael specializes in program development, implementation support, and funding readiness. He collaborates with Indigenous leadership, including Chief and Council, to create clear plans, strengthen funding applications, and enhance program delivery. Michael's expertise spans project management, Indigenous partnerships, and strategic planning, particularly in areas like training, employment, and governance. His recent projects include the Rural Transit Solution Fund for Muskowekwan FN and the Saulteaux First Nation Housing and Infrastructure CHIFF application.

Raised in Cochin, he has deep ties with the Saulteaux and Moosomin First Nations and taught at the Saulteaux Heritage School for three years. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Arts, Michael is an active community member, volunteering with the Upper Victoria Park Neighbourhood Association and the Knights of Columbus. Outside of work, Michael enjoys downhill skiing and reading, and cherishes time with his wife Kirstin and their four children.
