It focuses on tangible steps directed at leading a group or organization toward desired outcomes. Using the framework of vision, alignment and execution, Work of Leaders equips leaders to better understand their own behaviors and how these behaviors impact their leadership effectiveness.

Module 4 – Promoting Positive Mental Health & Wellness in The Workplace

Mental health problems affect everyone in some way, regardless of profession and position within an organization. This module will focus on the specific leadership practices and competencies to support prevention and promote positive mental health within the workplace. Module 5

Module 5 – Leading Generation Z

Generation Z possesses a unique group of attributes that differentiate the emerging generational group from its predecessors. Raised in tandem with the Internet, Generation Zers are known as digital natives that have grown up in a defining period of global unrest and terrorism, dependency on smart devices, artificial intelligence, economic and financial instability, nanotechnology, hyper-connectivity, diversity and inclusion, and extreme competition. Module 6 – Leveraging Communication & Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

The workplace has become more complex and diverse than ever before. Strong leadership understands that effective communication and emotional intelligence (EQ) are not only essential, they is critical. With a diverse workforce that includes more generations, ethnic and racial backgrounds, socioeconomic and education levels, and working styles and preferences, leaders must understand and proactively practice effective communication and EQ to remain competitive and position themselves and their teams for success.

 
 

 
 
Module 7

Module 7 – Enhancing Performance Management
— November 5th, 2024 - 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. (Saskatchewan)

Leaders play an important role in creating an organizational culture where employees are able to contribute positively to the success of their organizations. This module will assist leaders to effectively link their employees’ goals to the strategic goals of the organization through effective performance planning and ongoing performance feedback as well as using performance management as a development process for employees. In this session, there will be emphasis on effective goal-setting, the importance of competencies in performance management, the use of the 3C Model for providing performance feedback, improving ratings through use of calibration meetings and dealing with difficult performance conversations.

 
 

 
 
Module 8

Module 8 – Change Management
— November 12th, 2024 - 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. (Saskatchewan)

Change is necessary for growth and continuous improvement in any organization. As leaders, anticipating and planning for the impact of change on employees, management, clients and other stakeholders is key to successful change management. In this module, participants will practice applying the change management model to create an environment where those they lead feel supported and empowered throughout all stages of transition. Participants will also learn how to develop change resiliency in others so they are able to tackle change with the energy and confidence needed to grow with the organization.
