Erica Smith

This introductory session is used to set expectations for the course and help participants set intentions. Using the lens of Everything DiSC® Management, a tool used to teach managers how to bring out the best from each employee on their team, learners will understand how their personality and decision-making style influence their team members and direct reports. Participants will learn how to understand their own management priorities and tendencies as well as better read the styles of the people they manage. May 7, 2024- Working With the Generations

Jake Aguas

For the first time in history, there are five generations working together in the workplace. This complex, multi-generational dynamic presents numerous challenges for today’s workplace. Learners will better understand the nuances of each generation, the "why" behind their group behaviours, and learn to appreciate and work with each generation's uniqueness - positioning themselves to effectively collaborate across generational boundaries and maximizing team performance.

9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

May 14, 2024 - Change Management

Erica Smith

Navigating change in the workplace can be complicated. In fact, many change initiatives fail to achieve their objective causing leaders to become avoidant or ill equipped to lead their teams through the process. In this session, participants will learn to manage change through a proven process consisting of alignment, communication, training and measurement of outcomes. Participants will also learn strategies for effectively responding to various employee reactions to change.

9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

May 21, 2024 - Inclusive Leadership & Wrap-up

The strongest teams are the ones where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered to contribute their best. This session helps learners explore the power of diverse teams and how to leverage them through equity and inclusion. Learners will also be challenged to recognize implicit biases in themselves and others while gaining tools to mitigate them. The final portion of this session is used to reflect on the entirety of the course and build a personal action plan to strengthen participants' leadership abilities and continue on their path to leadership success.
